I am in the 4th year of my PhD, having completed half in the laboratory of Prof. Jürgen Götz, under the supervision of Dr. Rebecca Nisbet, where I worked on developing tau intrabodies and monoclonal antibodies, and used ultrasound as a tool to get these into the brain. Currently I am working with Dr. Zach Houston and Dr. Nick Fletcher under the primary supervision of Assoc. Prof. Kris Thurecht, with a focus on glioblastoma drug delivery and mechanism determination. Outside of the lab I sit as a student representative on the UQ Academic Board and Academic Board Standing Committee. I was also elected as the President (Research) of the UQU Association of Postgraduate Students.
