In this project we hope to investigate the effect that micelle size has on the successful homogenous distribution of carrier across a heterogeneous tumour volume. By utilising in vivo imaging techniques such as Multi Spectral Optoacoustic Tomography (MSOT) and ex vivo fluorescent microscopy following immunohistological staining we hope to visualise in high resolution the distribution of different sized micelles across a 3-D tumour mass.
