About Joshua
Originally from country NSW, I'm a pretty artsy person, so my interests outside of science generally revolve around music, art and being outdoors. I also hoard books and enjoy travelling.
Possessing a background in biomedical science and microscopy, Joshua joined the Thurecht Group during his Masters of Molecular Imaging and is currently examining the biological interactions of polymers for nanomedicine and molecular imaging as a PhD student. Focused on the interactions that occur at the bio-nano interface, his research predominates around linking the components and attributes of polymeric materials to intracellular and intratumoural behaviours using microscopy-based approaches.
